Will I be terrible in track?
all you need to do is train more. go for long runs and try to run five days a week, it will make you even better to run on the weekends, but you do need a break, so take off sunday or saturday. cross training helps too like riding a bike and swimming. this will improve your time and your endurance and you will be able to compete in the 800 to the 3200, those are the distance races if you are not a sprinter. and there are a lot of people that run and someone will be slower. just keep positive, you cant think that you will get last, running is a mental sport, so keep your head up, you can do it!
