Cross country or long distance track? which one you have to run more?

hey i ran XC and planning on running long distance track. i was just wondering do you have to run more, the same or less. in XC we had to run 10-13 almost every day for practice except the speed day workouts and race day or the day before the race. so will we have to do anything like that for long distance track?
