Out of range?!?

i have an AOpen f50l moniter...its about 5 years old, everything works and all but when i try to play warcraft III the screen goes black and an out of range pops out...i have played warcraft on this screen before and it worked but i changed to a better moniter and returned to this one and now it doesnt work(same cpu) it works for everyother game too eg. Rome total war, CS etc.. and even downloaded games, im just wondering why it doesnt work for warcraft 3, thanks
