Why do people call teens so irresponsible?

Because that is not when they see you, or any teen. The times they see them is when they are out fooling around with friends taking a break and having fun. And, a lot of teens are irresponsible and lazy at least some of the time. ( I know I can be) Which does not make it right. It's just a stereotype.
